Knights of Columbus

Knights of ColumbusThe Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization of Catholic men, 18 years and older, dedicated to the support of the clergy, local parishes and Catholic charitable needs.

Our Allouez Council supports children and persons with learning disabilities, Pro-Life organizations, etc. The Allouez Council works closely with St. Pius X, St. Mary’s and Sacred Heart parishes in Rock Island, providing funds for various projects with council members being active participants in their parishes.

Among the many recent charitable efforts of our local Allouez Council are the purchase of the sound system for McCarthy Hall, raising over $40,000 for a new ultrasound machine for the Women's Choice Center, and supporting Jordan, Alleman and Fr. Freehill’s Catholic Outreach at Augustana.

For anyone interested in joining or just learning about who the Knights are and what they do, please contact Greg Schneider at 309-207-0577 or, or Dave Yordy at 563-529-6582.
