Liturgy of the Hours and Lectio Divina

Lectio Divina and Divine Office

We are a praying community.  Come and pray with us for our Church, for peace in our world and in our hearts, for our families, and for each other.

Lectio Divina

Tuesday Mornings at 8:30 a.m.

Pope Francis explains Lectio Divina as:

"There is one particular way of listening to what the Lord wishes to tell us in His Word and letting ourselves be transformed by the Spirit.  It is what we call lectio divina.  It consists of reading God's Word in a moment of prayer and allowing it to enlighten and renew us . . ."

Join us for the new Lectio Divina format, starting on Tuesday, May 8th, right after the 8:00 a.m. Mass.

We'll begin with a cup of coffee and a brief (10-15 minute) video on how to hear God's word through sacred reading of scripture and centering prayer.

Lectio Divina is a beautiful prayer, although it takes practice!

Come and experience this ancient way of spiritual growth through reading and prayerful reflection that has such a long and revered tradition in the Catholic church.

No registration is required and no experience is needed!
