DO YOU WANT TO KNOW A SECRET?

Catholic social teaching is often referred to as the “Church’s best kept secret”.  We would like to let everyone in on that secret!  One way is to participate in JustFaith 2010-2011.

Why participate?

To gain a better understanding of the Church’s social mission from scripture, the Church’s historical witness, and Catholic social teaching.

To integrate personal spirituality and social ministry.

Who is this for?

People who want to learn more about the Church’s social justice tradition.

People who are looking for spiritual growth.

    YOU!

When is it?

Sessions begin in September, run for 30 weeks and meet at a place and day to be determined by the participants.

What is involved?

Weekly 2 1/2 hour sessions.

Retreats in September and April.

Four visits with people who have experienced injustice.

About 2 hours of reading each week.

Cost: $145 per person for books.

Who do I contact for more information?

Barbara Roedel at 793-7356 or broedel@stpiusri.org

An Information Session will be held on Thursday, July 22, from 7-8:00 pm in Farrell Hall.  Fr. Dick Bresnahan will be the presenter.

Invite your friends, family, and neighbors to join in the evening.  See you there!
