Dear Teens & St. Pius X Community,
It has been my privilege to minister to the youth of the St. Pius X Parish Community: it has been a wonderful opportunity. It is, therefore, with a heavy heart that I am letting you know that I have given Fr. Schaab my resignation letter. I have met, and had the opportunity to work with, wonderful staff members, parents, volunteers, and most importantly teens. Thank you for being part of my life for these past few months, and I appreciate all you have done for the youth program. I hope your support will continue after I've left.
I will be working at Sacred Heart Cathedral (Davenport) as the Pastoral Associate. With St. Pius X being a part-time position, it was my best interest to accept this opportunity, as it is a full-time position. Over the next month, I will continue to work on youth events, and will try to make life as easy for my successor as possible. I will be available for any questions or concerns before my departure, and will remain available by e-mail and phone after my last day to help with any questions that may arise. I will do my best to keep you up-dated on this transition in the Youth Ministry Program at St. Pius X, and ask you to continue offering your support by continuing to volunteering and pray while I'm here and after I've gone.
